JURA EN VAN 🇬🇧 ENGLISH BELOW 🇬🇧

Quand je repense à l’année 2020, je me dit qu’on a quand même été chanceux. Chanceux d’avoir pu vivre de belles expériences : on a fait des trek que je ne m’imaginais pas capable de faire, des randonnée et des bivouac. 🤩
On est parti en Islande en pleine crise mondiale.

Et on a terminé l’année par ce trip en van dans le Jura ! 🍀

Là aussi, on a eu de la chance avec la météo ! On a quitté notre centre-ville pluvieux pour rouler sur de la neige fraiche. Un vrai plaisir ! (Sauf quand on a passé 1 heure à patiner sur une petite côte…😅)
On a roulé quelques jours dans le parc régional du Haut-Jura, à la recherche des plus beaux lacs enneigés. 🏞

Cette expérience nous conforte carrément dans l’idée de partir jusqu’au nord de l’Europe où le Canada 🍁 en van si on ne peut pas réaliser notre Tour du Monde !🤞🏼

On manque pas d’idées concernant les pays à visiter ! 🤣

On a trop hâte d’avoir le feu vert du chirurgien d’Arnaud pour aménager notre (futur) van et partir à l’aventure ! 🚐

When I think back to 2020, I think to myself that we were lucky anyway. Lucky to have been able to have great experiences: we have done treks that I never imagined myself capable of doing, hikes and bivouacs. 🤩

And we ended the year with this van trip in the Jura! 🍀

We drove a few days in the Haut-Jura National Park, in search of the most beautiful snow-covered lakes. 🏞

This experience clearly confirms our idea of going to northern Europe or Canada 🍁 by van if we cannot do our Round the World Tour in September! 🤞🏼

We can't wait to get the green light from Arnaud's surgeon to set up our (future) van and go on an adventure! 🚐

NOUVEL AN DANS LE JURA - 🇬🇧 ENGLISH BELOW 🇬🇧

On est déjà le 18 janvier mais il paraît qu’en France on peut souhaiter la bonne année jusqu’à ce que février se pointe !
Alors je te souhaite une belle année 2021, pleine de voyage, de joie et de liberté !

On a profité du week-end prolongé du réveillon pour prendre la sauvette en van sur la Route des lacs dans le Jura. En réalité, on a fait demi-tour à mi-chemin pour retourner dans les paysages enneigés haha. Donc on a pas vu grand chose de cette route mais c’était sans regrets !

La neige est devenue reine dans ce paysage qu’on apprécie déjà. On est arrivés le vendredi dans la soirée. C’est seulement au réveil de la nouvelle année qu’on a pu découvrir lace paysage mystique. La neige faisant pencher les branches des sapins, l’air frais nous enivrant, le bruit des oiseaux, des empreintes de biches non loin et le lac en grande partie gelé.

Je résumerai ce week-end en un mot : féérique.

It is already January 18th but it seems that in France we can wish a happy new year until February arrives !
So I wish you a happy new year 2021, full of travel, joy and freedom !

We took advantage of the long New Year's Eve weekend to take the van on the Lake road in the Jura. In fact, we turned around halfway to return to the snowy landscapes haha. So we haven't seen much of this road but we don’t regret !

Snow has become queen in this landscape that we already appreciate. We arrived on Friday evening. It was only when the New Year awoke that we were able to discover this mystical landscape. The snow bending the branches of the fir trees, the fresh air intoxicating us, the sound of birds, deer footprints nearby and the lake largely frozen over.

I will sum up this weekend in one word: magical.

Wild Rosemarys se développe doucement et beaucoup de gens se demandent qui nous sommes et quel est notre projet, alors voilà :

Arnaud c’est le créatif, je lui ai fait gouté à la photographie et depuis il ne fait que progresser. 💪🏼

Auréline, c’est moi, je me caches derrière les mots, je suis bien plus à l’aise avec mon crayon que devant l’objectif. 📸

Notre projet est simple : le 6 septembre 2021 nous partons en TOUR DU MONDE 🌎

Où ? On ne sait pas, le Covid remet tous nos plans en questions, ne fait que de nous ralentir dans nos démarches. Le plan idéal c’est l’Amérique du Sud et l’Asie sur 1 an. L’Europe et le Canada sont juste derrière sur la liste de nos envies. 🍁

Ce sera normalement en sac à dos, ou en van si nous ne pouvons pas aller plus loin que les frontières Européennes. 🚐

Mais ce qui est sûr, c’est qu’on part dans 9 mois. ⏳

Wild Rosemarys is growing slowly and a lot of people are asking us about our plans, so here it is:

Arnaud is a creative man, I gave him a taste of photography and since then he has only improved. 💪🏼

Auréline, it's me, I hide myself behind the words, I am much more comfortable with my pencil than in front of the lens. 📸

Our project is simple: on September 6, 2021 we are going on a WORLD TOUR 🌎

Wheeler ? We don’t know, the Covid put all our plans into question, it slows us down in our efforts. The ideal plan is South America and Asia over 1 year. Europe and Canada are just behind on our wish list. 🍁

It will normally be in a backpack, or in a van if we cannot go beyond the European borders. 🚐

But what is certain is that we will be leaving in 9 months. ⏳

Quelle année 2020 ! ✨
Beaucoup de changements, deux déménagements, beaucoup de bouleversement familial. Mais aussi des voyages :
La Slovénie, la Croatie, Bratislava, Budapest et Vienne en Interrail.
Un bivouac au Mont d’Or et un au Lac Blanc.
Un 14 juillet au Lac de Monteynard.
Un road trip magnifique en Islande dès le lendemain du déconfinement
Un week-end en Bretagne et un autre dans le Jura.

Et hier soir nous avons pris la route en van dans le Jura, pour clôturer cette année qui a ressemblé à des montagnes russes.

On dit bye bye à 2020 pour commencer à écrire 2021, l’année de notre tour du monde ! 🌎

What a year 2020! ✨
Lots of changes, two moves, a lot of family upheaval. But also trips:
Slovenia, Croatia, Bratislava, Budapest and Vienna by Interrail.
A bivouac at Mont d´Or and one at Lac Blanc.
July 14th at Lac de Monteynard.
A magnificent road trip in Iceland the day after deconfinement
A weekend in Bretagne and another in the Jura.

And last night we hit the road in a van in the Jura, to end this year which has felt like a roller coaster.

We say bye bye to 2020 to start writing 2021, the year of our world tour! 🌎
